last night i had the weirdest dream. i was driving in a car with my grandma and we were talking about morrissey. she turned to me and was like "oh i love morrissey!" and then she started singing a song, which not in real life but in my dream was one of his songs, and it went "i smoke to joints, i'm waiting, waiting" it was too weird to hear any of this come out of my grandma's mouth.

That *has* to be a real dream.
You couldn't make something like that up ;-)
grandmas sing the darndest things.
those lyrics sound like something from a new scott walker album... i can just hear the meat hitting now
Ohh..lovely dream!
Wish that I could dream something like that.. And what if Morrisey one day would sing this song.. That would be even more wierd..!
Entitled "Waiting for Good Dope," perhaps? ;-)
Ha! Well your dream definitely captured something about Morrissey; I can totally see him longingly repeating the word "waiting" in a song. On the other hand, I'm not sure he'd ever sing about smoking joints.
Okay, this is the weirdest thing. My word verification to post the comment is "grama". I'm totally spooked by this coincidence.
Perhaps the words coming out of "her" mouth aren't so weird because they came from you. We're only talking a couple of generations here, so there may be some genetic traits being passed along, and you may be listening to and looking at a reflection of yourself in the future.
