Ahh, here's one of the cons of Web 2.0: the inevitable spill of "anonymous" negative conversation into the comment section of any blog, YouTube video, or social networking site. It's a shame that it ended up on a great video of yours. It's going to happen regardless of the positive messages sent out, but you'd think that people would be more open-minded and respectful when tagging a public page with feedback. It's like virtual graffiti.

Music obviously doesn't directly influence (or end) war, but can't politically-charged lyrics play a role in shifting a culture's ideologies just as much as a great novel, painting, or a civically engaging speech? More often than not, it produces Che Guevara t-shirts and passionate yet uninformed blog rants, but I'd like to think that they can expose flaws or create awareness. (Or, just give us something to dance to!)

"Dude - where's my car?!" - lol!

@ Thomas - so agree about "passionate yet uninformed blog rants" - but - everyone get's "informed" at their own pace and rate. However, that doesn't prevent anyone from spouting their *opinion*.

Here is one of my all-time fave quotes:

"Opinion, whether well or ill founded, is the governing principle of human affairs"
